Footwear A/W 09

by Andrew

This is no means an extensive list of all the spring summer 2010 footwear which we love but merely those which have stuck in the forefront of our minds at this time.
First off;
Opening Ceremony
This is not the whole collection, but the ones that we are drawn to immediately. With regards to the last three, the chunky Dr Marten type sole is what catches our eye and says comfort, longevity and a secure footholding on these snowy days.
The footwear is usually what we look forward to most from the brand, the updated classic styles which have been re-worked in terms of materials, colorways and eye catching details are what make them so popular and wearable. This is seen in the second image; combining the aggressive, jagged sole with a saddle shoe style upper, resulting something intriguing and quite fresh looking.

Slick, minimal and affordable, everything that we love about cos. This ankle boot with front zip is sure to be a strong seller as it does not have unnecessary details or embellishment and has done well for other brands in the recent past. Our favourites being the OC boots from AW09, click here.

Oliver Spencer

We are obviously unashamed fans of oxford style shoes and these Oliver Spencer ones with a wedge heel in a red brick colour are almost perfect looking. As with other Spencer shoes, these are also made in Northampton, a byword for quality, these are sure to see you right season after season. Great for both day and evening wear and we would happily have either chukka or oxford versions.
