Saw this over at Dazed Digital, No Editions, a NY based brand, used enlarged and distorted images from cctv cameras as the singular print for a collection of dresses.

Their ethos is to create individual garments by following a practice of ‘no duplicates, no repetitions’, which is a great idea, especially now with the British high street’s love of the homogenous and ultimately boring.

We do really like the concept of using cctv images, and how it is apt for how surveyed and observed we are from day-to-day. The method they have used is brilliant, it not only fits in with their creed but saves them a fortune and lot of work in creating unique dresses. However if the colour combinations and pattens had been created by someone I think that it would not be as fresh looking as it does and without an interesting back story.
