Garbstore, LNER blazer

The independent menswear emporium The Garbstore, specialists in menswear for the detail and heritage obsessed, have released this reinterpreted 1960s British Rail workers’ coat with 70s style, donkey jacket canvas panelling. The LNER coat takes it’s name from the London and North Eastern Railway that used to link London with, unsurprisingly, the north of England and Scotland.

Composed of English wool and made by the original manufacturers to British Rail, this one-time item of ubiquity has been rejuvenated by our returning appreciation of UK manufacturing and nostalgic view of the past.
